Biography
Martin Zurowietz received the B.Sc. degree in bioinformatics and the M.Sc. degree in informatics in the natural sciences from Bielefeld University, Bielefeld, Germany, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Biodata Mining Group, Bielefeld University. His research interests include automatic object detection in marine imagery using deep learning methods, assistance systems for manual marine image annotation and the development of large-scale web-based collaborative image annotation platforms.
