Biography
I am interested in the spatial ecology and community composition of benthic habitats in the Nordic Seas. I use visual data collected by AUVs and ROVs to explore the distribution and relationships occuring within and between habitats.
I have a speciality in deep-sea ecology on the Arctic Mid Ocean Ridge, deep-sea survey design, image analysis, GIS, and multivariate statistics for community analysis.
I am the co-founder for The Bergen Bathysphere (https://bathysphere.no/), a networking community of those working in the Norwegian Deep-Seas and primarily based in Bergen.
